Closing Statement:
In conclusion, democracy has more chances than dictatorships. In democracy people get what they want because they voted for it so it makes the people happy. In a democracy, people might not be happy with the dictator but it is very hard to remove him from power. This is why a democracy is better that a dictatorship.
A dictatorship is not stable whatsoever. In a dictatorship, the is a high chance of a revolutions because people are not treated good because of harsh punishments and bad decision making by the dictator. This makes it so the people are not happy so at any time there can be a revolution. For example, The Egyptian dictator ruled for 30 years and people thought it was stable but suddenly there was a revolution and in 1 moth he was taken down. This shows that dictatorships are not stable. The USA was a democracy for years and it was very stable.
Argument #3:
A democracy is better than a dictatorship because there is justice in a democracy and rules are fair. The reason for this is that there are hundreds of people vote together to make the laws which insures that they are for the good of the people and not for the benefit of specific people. In a dictatorship, the ruler makes all the rules and they might not be good for the people but they benefit the ruler only. There priority is to remain in power and they don't care about their people at all. Also, having more people talking about one decision results in less mistakes because when people share their ideas it makes it so the right solution or agreement happens and that the decision is right for the country. Unlike in a dictatorship, there is one person who is making all the decisions and that might not be good.
I can see your point but harsh punishments are not the way to go because people become afraid to speak out because they know how harsh the government is and that makes the leader stay in power longer because people are scared to do anything.
