Closing statement

Overall, a dictatorship is superior as the leaders are more fit to lead and know what is better for and can help the country in the long run. Also, decisions are made faster and therefore more effective for the situation at hand. Lastly, the people will be happier and feel safer in their community as crime rates are much lower, and people need not be concerned about these issues. So the countries under a dictatorship have a brighter future.

In a democracy, the people's problems could be taken to officials but might not even be sent to the president. If it gets to the president, the making of laws would take too long and when the law is put to place, they might be ineffective. In a dictatorship, too the people could send their problems and issues to the government advisors.

In a dictatorship, there is no rule that the laws cannot be changed they may be harder but that can be changed. For example, in Cuba after Fidel Castro resigned he made sure that the country is more free and after 2018 he wants the younger generations to take over. This shows that even dictators also want the best for the country and for the people to live happy and comfortable lifestyles.

In a democratic country, there is no guarantee that there is no corruption and that the laws will always favor the people. For example, in Nigeria, the president Ibrahim Babanginda is corrupt and voided the June 12 elections. In a dictatorship, laws are made faster and as an effect, the laws are still effective at the time they're released and not long overdue. Also a dictator has many advisors who advise him on decisions that will benefit the country and see to that the dictator doesn't make bad decisions.

Despite if the leader makes the people happy, those decisions might not be the best for the future of the country as the people aren't educated in areas such as politics and economics enough to know what is the best for their country's future.

3 points

Often, when people have the opportunity to have input on the leadership of their country, they make decisions they are not aware of, that can greatly impact the future of their country. In a democracy in Russia, the people voted for Vladimir Putin and the government has now become an authoritarian state who harms the population.
