Closing Statement:

In conclusion, democracy has more chances than dictatorships. In democracy people get what they want because they voted for it so it makes the people happy. In a democracy, people might not be happy with the dictator but it is very hard to remove him from power. This is why a democracy is better that a dictatorship.

The chance of a good dictator is very little because they all want power and don't care about the people. There were very little good dictatorships but a lot of bad dictatorships.

A dictatorship is not stable whatsoever. In a dictatorship, the is a high chance of a revolutions because people are not treated good because of harsh punishments and bad decision making by the dictator. This makes it so the people are not happy so at any time there can be a revolution. For example, The Egyptian dictator ruled for 30 years and people thought it was stable but suddenly there was a revolution and in 1 moth he was taken down. This shows that dictatorships are not stable. The USA was a democracy for years and it was very stable.

Argument #3:

A democracy is better than a dictatorship because there is justice in a democracy and rules are fair. The reason for this is that there are hundreds of people vote together to make the laws which insures that they are for the good of the people and not for the benefit of specific people. In a dictatorship, the ruler makes all the rules and they might not be good for the people but they benefit the ruler only. There priority is to remain in power and they don't care about their people at all. Also, having more people talking about one decision results in less mistakes because when people share their ideas it makes it so the right solution or agreement happens and that the decision is right for the country. Unlike in a dictatorship, there is one person who is making all the decisions and that might not be good.

I can see your point but harsh punishments are not the way to go because people become afraid to speak out because they know how harsh the government is and that makes the leader stay in power longer because people are scared to do anything.

But there is less uneducated people than educated people in a modern country because everyone goes to school so most people know the right thing.

1 point

It doesn't encourage people to not break any laws. IT SCARES THEM

A dictaror like Hitler gave harsh punishments to people but his intentions were bad and he was racist and what he was doing wasn't good for his county

1 point

Instead of using harsh punishments the government can educate the people better and to make them understand the right thing. Harsh punishments make people scared and they become scared to talk out

1 point

It is almost impossible for millions of people to have the wrong intentions in an educated county.

What if the decision was made fast but it was wrong and the problem gets worse. Its better to make the right decision slower than the wrong one fast

1 point

I want some evidence on the list of good dictators. I can guarantee there is many more bad dictators.

If the decisions are fast means that the decision might be wrong but when a group of people decide it mans that the decision is usually correct

Argument #1: A democracy is better that a dictatorship because a democracy gives the people lots of freedom and gives them the ability to vote for their leader. This makes the people understand more about their country and people become more interested and gives them the feeling of responsibility and a chance to speak out. This means that the people have all freedom so if the leader of the country isn’t doing well they can be removed peacefully because it is a democracy. Unlike a dictatorship, if the people don't like the leader, to remove him from power needs violence.
