Closing Statement:

In conclusion, a democracy is much better than a dictatorship in many ways. Although a democracy has flaws, a dictatorship’s flaws are much more present and vivid. Dictatorship’s have no say in the leader, in the laws, and in the government in general. Democracies, on the the other hand, have says in laws as they are passed on to each political party and branch which ensures that it is a law that the citizens would benefit from. Dictatorships have no freedom of speech as they have harsh punishments which scares the citizens into following them. In a democracy, the people are free to who they chose for their ruler and if they don’t like them, then they can vote for the other candidates that are running. Dictators have a pattern in which they end up abusing their power such as Hitler, Kim Jong Un, Gaddafi, and Hussein.

Argument #2: Democracies promote equality, a democracy is based on the rule of equality, which means that all people are equal as far as the law is concerned. Every person has the right to experience and enjoy equal political, social and economic rights, and the state is not allowed to discriminate him on the standard of sex, class, religion and property. It is important that everyone is treated equally, no matter what their religion, class, or sexual orientation is. To be discriminated for who you are is cruel and unfair.
